Call for Special Sessions
The Speech Prosody 2008 Program has room for two Special Sessions. In
the Special Session, invited speakers coordinated by a chair aim to
promote a state-of-the-art discussion on an issue that attracts the
attention of present research. The organiser and/or proponent of
the session will be the Special Session Chair.
Each Special Session has a time span of one hour and forty minutes.
In order to have a more throughly discussion we recommend a
maximum of four presenters for each special session.
We call all groups interested in organising a special session to submit
a proposal. All proposals will be analysed by the SP2008 chairs and
communicated to the proponents. All proposals should contain the
theme, the names of the coordinator(s) and presenters, as well as a
short, 100-word explanation of the reason for proposing the theme for
SP2008.
Papers submitted to a Special Session will be revised by the session
chair and must be submitted as 6-page PDF files.
The proposal should be sent in PDF format to
sp2008_scient@iel.unicamp.br until January 21st, 2008.
